Srinagar, 15-Mar; A group of B.Sc Nursing students affiliated with Desh bhagat university Mandi gobingargh Punjab are on protest against the mismanagement of college authorities.While talking to scores of kashmiri students said that they are suffering from lot of problems even girls have tried to commit suicide because of college authorities for jeopardizing their career.. As per them, they have taken admission in desh_bhagat_University under faculty of nursing but previous year at the time of annual exams their ERP was changed and girls were shifted to another college that is not recognised.According to INC only 60 seats are allotted but they have taken more than 100 admissions and because of this they shifted students to another college.“’I also took admission there previous year along with lot of students, After taking admission, they narrated the same thing and tried to shift us to another college that was not recognised, This activity of theirs compelled me to cancel the admission and even my fee component haven’t been refunded yet. Also their interaction and behaviour with students isn’t upto mark,One of the Ex-student added.The students have requested the management to refund all the fee of Ist year and 2nd year but their appeals have been denied every now and then.“We requested college authorities to give us college ID but they refused to give us and said that we can’t provide you ID because it is not a recognised institute. Our career has been put on stake by college authorities, now we request the concerned authorities to come to our rescue”,they added.The students impressed that the college authorities must take cognizance of their demands to avoid further loss of their academic career.
