Demands compensation to the next of kins of the deceased and ex-gratia and rehabilitation for the affected family members

    Srinagar,18- Apr: Apni Party Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi today visited the family members of PDD Lineman Mohammad Ashraf Mir from Badipora Chadoora who died due to electric shock in Hafroo area of central Kashmir’s Budgam District on Sunday. He expressed greif and sorrow over the loss of a precious life due to faulty repairment work.In a statement issued to Andrabi said the administration needs to take up the matter and inquiry should be set as such cases are happening on daily basis across the region. He also demanded compensation for the family of bereaved and prayed for the peace to the departed soul and strength to the grieved family members to bear the loss.”The news about the demise of Mohammad Ashraf Mir came as a shock to me. I demand inquiry into the matter and alongside the affected family should be given ex-gratia relief and rehabilitation at its earliest. I would pray for peace to the departed soul and strength to the family members of the deceased,” he said.(CNS)
