Sopore, 18-Apr: In the war against drugs and psychotropic substances, the Jammu Kashmir police arrested one drug peddler in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.A police spokesman said that the accused named Muhammad Lateef Parray son of Ghulam Nabi Parray resident of Hib Dangerpora Sopore was arrested and during his search 110 tablets of SPASMOPROXYVON Plus were recovered from his possession.He added that a naka was established at Chatloora crossing by a team of Police Post Watergam headed by DO Watergam under the supervision of SDPO Rafiabad and SHO Police Station Dangiwacha.In this regard Case FIR No. 42/2022 under section 8/22 of NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Dangiwacha and further investigation has been taken up.
