High Court approaches Crime Branch over ‘fake’ job list

    Srinagar, Aug 16: The administration of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court has approached the Crime Branch to probe an appointment list which was in circulation on social media.A senior official of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that the list is fake and they are approaching the Crime Branch and other agencies to probe the issuance of the list.Pertinent to mention that an appointment list of different posts has been attributed to the High Court and is in circulation on social media from the last few days.The appointment list contains the signature of an Administrative Officer of the High Court and names of the persons who are purportedly selected for the post.A copy of the list dated July 13, 2021 lies with news agency Kashmir Dot Com in which thirty three (33) persons are shown selected for Junior Assistant’s and thirty three (33) as Class IV (Orderly). Most of the selected persons belong to Bandipora District in the Junior Assistant list.Law Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir government, Achal Sethi told KDC that he will take up the matter with authorities concerned.Talking to news agency Kashmir Dot Com Advocate General High Court Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh D C Raina said that the list is “absolutely fake”.Administrative Officer to Advocate General High Court Z A Dewani said “We have approached the Crime Branch Kashmir for investigation of the fake selection list and no such list was issued by the court”.
