Indian Army organised iftar party at Dawar Gurez

Gurez, 11 April 2022: Setting an example of communal harmony, the Indian Army on Saturday, 10 Apr 2022, hosted Iftar for people belonging to weaker economic section of society including porters at Dawar to celebrate the holy month of Ramzan.On this pious occasion, approx. 35 locals and porters gathered at Army Camp, Dawar to relish the Iftar dinner. The Islamic holy month of Ramadan is a time for Muslims all over the world to renew their focus and devotion towards their religious beliefs and its practical application in daily life. The Indian Army in a small way joined in their celebrations and extended wishes. People also offered prayers before sitting down to savour the meal.The function organised by the Army is a step towards uniting different communities and spreading message of communal harmony.
