J&K NCC Cadets interact with Defence Minister

    JAMMU: 10 NCC Cadets including five each from MAM College and GGM Science College today interacted virtually with Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh on occasion of Constitution Day Youth Club activities, organised by NCC. While interacting with NCC Cadets across India, the Defence Minister appreciated the contribution of cadets for nation building process and inaugurated a month-long nationwide Constitution Day Youth Club Activities on the theme ‘Ekta Hamri Pahchan’. Various organisations such as NCC, NYKS, Hindustan Scouts & Guides, Bharat Scouts and Red Cross Society came together to enhance knowledge and information about Indian constitution across the masses by mobilizing the youth of the country. Major Dr Karan Singh attended the event on behalf of all ANOs along with the cadets from NCC Directorates Canal Road Jammu. The objective of the activities is to make youth aware of basic tents and sprit of India Constitution, to enable the masses to know about the fundamental duties and qualities of responsible citizens. Principal, Dr GS Rakwal appreciated the cadets for their contribution for nation building process.
