Ganderbal,02Apr : On the directions of District Administration Ganderbal, ahead of holy month of Ramdhan, Tehsildar Gund along with SHO Gund and Food Safety Officer Kangan conducted extensive market checking in the Gund market on Saturday.Food business operators, mutton & Chicken dealers and other shopkeepers were directed to adhere the Govt. approved rates in letter & spirit.Official told CNS that the shopkeepers were directed to keep Government approved rate lists displayed in their shops and warned of strict action for violating the Food Safety and Standard Rules.Meanwhile, the officials have appealed general public of the district to bring into the notice of Administration instances of anyone indulging in overcharging of essential commodities for immediate necessary action..(CNS)
