Anantnag,26-Apr; A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) soldier on Tuesday foiled a weapon snatching bid in south kashmir’s Anantnag district, said an official.They said that the militants in a bid to snatch rifle threw chilli powder into the eyes of paramilitary trooper while he was performing duty at the gate of Kashmiri Pandit at Reshibazar Anantnag. The trooper along with other colleagues resisted and the attackers fled. Meanwhile the whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers, official added.(CNS)
