Baramulla , 20 -Sep: In an appreciable move by motor vehicle department Baramulla, thousands of applicants have received their driving license at their door step without attending ARTO office.Besides that On-Road Trail has been started by MVD at Baramulla for which Locals of Baramulla District and Netizens across Valley have highly appreciated MVD for giving relief to general public.Sources told Current News Service that Thousands of applicants from the Baramulla district have received their driving licence at their door step through Registered Post without visiting ARTO office. Mubashir Jan who has totally changed the Scenario for issuance of Driving licences in District Baramulla Ghulam Mohammed a local resident of Sopore told that Door Step trial and Process of issuance of License has given a big relief to general Public and has also brought transparency in the system.While providing another relief to applicants ARTO Baramulla Mubashir Jan has ist time in valley conducted Trails at Sub Divisional & Tehsil Levels, where applicants from the area were participating in the trial at their own area without Visiting Sopore.Meanwhile, during outreach programme dozens of Trials were also conducted by ARTO and his team in District Particularly at Rampur, Rajpora ,Uri, Drang, Gogaldora, Pattan , Sopore, Seer, Singpora and from Watergam to Tangmarg.Pertinent to mention, ARTO Baramulla has been awarded by District administration Baramulla for conducting such driving tests and Road safety awareness programmes in collaboration with many departments, generating huge Revenue of More than Twenty five Crores to Government.(CNS)
