Police Rescue 250 Tourists Stranded on Affarwat Hills in Gulmarg

    Srinagar 09 June, CNS: At least 250 tourists were rescued by Baramulla Police after getting stranded at Gondola Phase ll on Affarwat hill of Gulmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.

    As per police official, they rushed to the place, Affarwat Gulmarg, where nearly 250 tourists were stranded and the action was initiated swiftly after receiving an input about the incident.

    “Police Station Gulmarg led by Inspector Irshad Ahmad – with the assistance of staff of Gondola Car Corporation – swung into action. After strenuous overnight efforts, they rescued the stranded tourists and brought them back to Gulmarg base safely,” police spokesperson said.

    After the rescue operation, the stranded tourists expressed their gratitude towards the Baramulla police for their timely action
