PUBG Mobile developers have announced that they will launch a new game called PUBG Mobile India to cater to Indian players. PUBG Mobile was banned back in September by the Indian government and around the same time, PUBG Corporation had announced that it will no longer authorise the PUBG Mobile franchise to Shenzhen-based Tencent Games in India. While the team had announced that it would terminate access for users in India starting October 30, the game is still playable for several people who had it installed on their Android and iOS devices.
PUBG Mobile India is getting a huge response from the gamer community registered on Tap Tap. At the time of writing, the latest version of PUBG Mobile game received over 1 lakh pre-registrations. The description for this pre-registration listing also reveals the Facebook and YouTube pages for PUBG Mobile India are now live. In fact, the Facebook and Instagram pages of PUBG Mobile India have posted teasers of the game, saying it is “coming soon.” The Tap Tap listing also mentions the game will be available in both English and Hindi language but I am not sure about that.
