Srinagar , Aug 10: A shrine was damaged in a massive fire on Tuesday morning that broke out in Waniyar area of Safa Kadal in Srinagar district.Sources told that the fire broke out from Saber Baba shrine in Waniyar Safa Kadal during morning hours.Eyewitnesses said that the shrine was fully damaged in the massive blaze that broke out due to a short circuit.Meanwhile the fire tenders also rushed to the spot and doused the flames.A senior police official told that the investigation is underway to ascertain the cause of the incident and added that preliminary investigation suggests it as a case of short circuit.
