Sarv Shakti Sena appeals to LG for relief package to traders ..Rajan Gupta

    Sarv Shakti Sena Jammu and Kashmir Unit while raising serious concern over the alleged pathetic condition of traders of Jammu due to the ongoing pandemic as a result of which it has become very difficult for them to sustain their families, has sought a relief package for them. In a statement issued to media here today, Sarv Shakti Sena J&K President, Rajan Gupta said it is quite unfortunate that while the government announced various packages for different sectors during the first wave and the ongoing second wave of the pandemic, no relief has been provided to the traders. While welcoming the relief measures announced by the Lieutinant Governor for the Covid victims and others today, he said it was really shocking for the trading community to find that the administration has yet again neglected their woes. The Sarv Shakti Sena J&K President while drawing the attention of the Lieutinant Governor Manoj Sinha to the agonies and woes of the trading community asserted that it has suffered the most due to pandemic crisis especially on account of lockdowns and Corona curfew so much so that their survival of their business and families is at stake today. He said that through all odds during the pandemic last year as well as till date the traders tried their best to ensure that people rather consumers face no hardship in buying various items especially the essentials and now it is the duty of the government to come to their rescue by taking necessary measures. He made a fervent appeal to the Lieutinant Governor to conduct a meticulous analysis of their problems and woes and immediately roll out an appropriate relief package for the traders so that they are able to survive their business and sustain their families during the ongoing crisis situation.
