Shopian,09-May; Rural Development Department Shopian is Working on different fronts for upliftment of village life in respect of providing employment for unemployed youth and expanding infrastructure according to requirements of the people of District Shopian.The Block Development Officer Block Shopian, Jahid Azad while speaking to said that the various projects are under execution. Worth mentioning Lahanthora Project will be developed as an attractive tourist destination for local and outside UT tourists. Apart from this some parks, playfields are being constructed and completed in current financial year. “The Shahpine Park located at Mughal Road will be open through within a week’s time. All these projects are being executed under prestigious MGNEREGA scheme”,he added.(CNS)
