Super-bikers from various parts of J&K visit Skyview Patnitop

    JAMMU: Over 35 adventure and motorsport enthusiasts on 20 bikes and a few cars drove into Skyview Patnitop by Empyrean, a new mountain adventure and lifestyle destination, just before noon on a lovely, sunny Sunday morning.They were warmly welcomed by the management for a day filled with adventure which included experiencing India’s longest zig zag zipline, a ride on the magic carpet, tube sledging, followed by scrumptious food and a spectacular ride on the gondola from the lower terminal at Sanget valley to the upper terminal in Patnitop.The motor biking club culture though predominantly associated with the West, especially the US, is now gaining popularity all over India and there are motorbike clubs in most major cities. It’s an adventure or leisure activity that gives riders the freedom to be independent yet allows them to ride in a group.The group of riders astride Harley Davidsons, Kawasaki’s, Triumphs, Royal Enfields and motorsport aficionados driving cars like the Mustang and Audi TT, reached Skyview Patnitop’s lower terminal at Sanget, after traversing a 100 km scenic ride. They had started their journey from PitStop Café, the rider’s café in Jammu. PitStop is a concept platform facilitating the city with the only authentic superbike service station powered by certified mechanics.Skyview Patnitop by Empyrean, the hospitality venture of Empyrean Skyview Private Limited (ESPPL) officially reopened for visitors starting October 10, 2020 and will remain open on weekends only till November 30, 2020.During the lockdown, due to the pandemic, the site was comprehensively audited for Covid preparedness by SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company.A Covid-ready compliance certificate of safety was issued by them to ESPPL just before the reopening making it a safe destination for all visitors and employees with stringent SOP’s like online bookings, thermal screening, social distancing, sanitization routines and digital menus, etc., in place.
