Tangmarg youth dies in Saudi Arabia, kin seek govt help in airlifting body

Srinagar,30-Mar: A 27-year-old youth from Tangmarg area was killed in a road accident in Saudi Arabia on Saturday while the family here has appealed the Lieutenant Governor led administration to make arrangements for airlifting his body to Kashmir.Sources told that a youth identified as Muhammed Yunis Mir, son of Muhammad Saidullah Mir of Goigam Tehsil Kwarhama Tangmarg being the sole bread earner of his family, was working as coffee boy at a restaurant namely Alaman.Mir while returning to his accommodation after offering Tahjud prayers at around 03:30 AM reportedly died in a road accident at Gizan in Saudi Arabia at around 03:30 AM Meanwhile, family has urged Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha to pursue this matter with the Ministry of External Affairs in airlifting the mortal remains of deceased back to Kashmir from Saudi Arabia for the last rites at his ancestral village.
