SRINAGAR: The MeT department on Thursday forecast “moderate to heavy” snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh from December 23 to 25.”Currently, weather is generally cloudy at most places of Kashmir with report[s] of light snow at places like Gurez, Sonmarg, Zojila-Drass axis. Same weather [is] most likely to continue till later tonight and improve thereafter,” said an official.Weather is cloudy in Ladakh with light snowfall on Zojila-Drass axis. Same is likely to continue till later tonight and improve thereafter.Minimum temperature will take a further dip in the coming days in both J&K and Ladakh.”As on date, Widespread Moderate to Heavy Snowfall ( at some places) is most likely during (23-25th Dec.).
