    Srinagar, 23-Feb; Normal life was thrown out of gear as the Kashmir Valley was hit by fresh snowfall on Wednesday. People were forced to stay indoors without electricity as road links were snapped at many places. Meanwhile, flight operations at the Srinagar airport were disrupted due to heavy snowfall and poor visibility.A white blanket covered Kashmir as all parts of the valley received moderate to heavy snowfall, leading to the closure of roads. Snowfall began late on Tuesday night in most parts of Kashmir and just after midnight in Srinagar city.Director Srinagar Airport infomed that it is continuously snowing at the airport following which all flights of all airlines are delayed due to low visibility. “We are having continuous snowfall at our airport. Our Snow Clearing operations are also in continuous progress on runway and Apron.However the visibility is only 400M,” he said. He said that all the flights of all airlines are delayed. “We will continuously update the status of flights in this thread. Please standby for the next update at 0930,” he further saidJammu Srinagar national highway has been closed for vehicular movement due to landslides/shooting stones at many places on highway and snow accumulation around the NVYUG Tunnel, traffic officials informed.Train service from Baramulla to Banihal has been suspended following heavy snowfall in the valley, Railway officials said.Meanwhile, JKSSB Postponed all Examinations Scheduled today”In view of the inclement weather conditions prevailing in the Kashmir Valley, Type (Skill) Test for the post of Election Assistant scheduled to be held today on 23.02.2022 at NIELIT Budgam (Kashmir based candidates) is hereby postponed.Fresh dates shall be announced separately”,JKSSB informed.The University of Kashmir also postponed all UG/PG/Professional examinations of the University scheduled to be held on February 23, 2022 (Wednesday) in view of the inclement weather conditions.Controller of Examinations Dr Majid Zaman said fresh dates for the postponed papers will be notified separately.”All the examinations of Cluster University Srinagar scheduled on 23rd February,2022have been postponed due to inclement weather. Fresh dates for postponed papers shallbe notified separately.” Controller of Examinations Cluster University Srinagar said.Controller examination SKIMS also informed that all scheduled exams have been postponed and fresh dates will be notified separately.”All the Examinations of the SKIMS Medical University scheduled for today 23rd February, 2022 have been postponed due to inclement weather. Fresh dates will be notified separately.” Controller Examinations SKIMS said.Due to inclement weather Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission on Wednesday postponed prosecuting officer (Main) Examination. “It is for the information of all the eligible candidates who are appearing in the Prosecuting officer (Main) Examination 2021 that due to inclement weather, Paper VI (special Law-I) scheduled for today, i.e.23.O2.2O22 is hereby postponed and shall now be held on Friday. 25.02.2022 from 10.00 AM
