PM asks MPs to increase peoples’ involvement in G20

14-Dec; Prime Minister Narendra Modi today gave a clarion call to all MPs that everyone should be involved in events related to G20 as it is India’s programme and not a government programme.Addressing the BJP Parliamentary party meeting in New Delhi this morning, Modi asked MPs to come up with ideas how more and more people can be involved in events related to G20.He said wherever G20 events are being organised, public participation should be ensured through initiatives like cleanliness drives. This was informed by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi while briefing media after the meeting. On the occasion, the Prime Minister was felicitated for BJP’s victory in Gujarat assembly polls. Modi gave credit for the victory to state party chief C R Paatil, BJP national president JP Nadda and party workers.
