26-Nov;Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said, ‘We the People’ in the preamble of the Constitution is a commitment, pledge, and belief that has made India the mother of democracy.He described the Indian Constitution as open, futuristic, and known for its progressive views saying its spirit is youth centric.Modi said this while participating in the Constitution Day celebrations at the Supreme Court in New Delhi today.The Prime Minister urged the youth to participate more in discussions and debates regarding the Constitution to understand it better. Modi highlighted that judiciary is taking several steps including e-initiatives to ensure ease of justice for all in the country.The Prime Minister said, in today’s global situation, the eyes of the entire world are on India and amid the rapid development, the country is strengthening its global image.
