Karnah,10-Jan;A minor girl was seriously injured after stray dogs attacked her at Baghbella area of Karnah in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.As per reports to Current News Service (CNS) stray dogs pounced upon 4-year-old Zoya Jahangeer daughter of Jahangeer Ahmad of Baghbella, Karnah, resulting in critical injuries to the girl. Family members, who were present at the time of incident, somehow managed to rescue the girl and shifted her to Sub District Hospital Tanghdar where she is being treated for gruesome injuries.The local inhabitants have in the meantime expressed concern over the rapid growth in canine population in the area.The locals appealed to District and Tehsil administration to take preventive measures to safeguard the human and livestock.
