79.89% Students Qualify JKBOSE’s 2023 10th Class Exam

Srinagar 19 June (CNS): As the students had grown anxious in their anticipation for the annual result, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Monday relieved the stress of students by announcing the 10th standard results in which around 79.89 percent students were declared qualified.   As per the news agency CNS, a total of 1,48,701 students had appeared in the annual 10th examination of which 1,18,791 were declared qualified. Out of 1,48,701 students, 77,422 were boys and 71,279 girls.  In the annual examination, girls yet again have outperformed boys, with the former scoring 81.68 percent and later 78.23 percent.   Following the announcement of the result, the Lieutenant Governor of J&K  tweeted, “Heartiest congratulations to all the students, who have passed @jkboseofficial Class 10th Annual Regular examinations-2023. Girls have once again outshined boys, with a pass percentage of 81.68 compared to boys’ 78.23%. My best wishes to students, their parents & teachers.”  Pertinent to mention that the 12th class result of JKBOSE for the year 2023 was declared on June 9 in which 65% of students qualified. The result was akin to this year’s 10th class result as girls had also outshined the boys in it, too
