Srinagar,03-Feb: Senior BJP leader party’s JK spokesman Altaf Thakur Friday urged the Deputy Commissioners and Additional Deputy Commissioners (ADC’s) of J&K UT to abide by the directions of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Mehta about safeguarding and protecting the poor lot during the ongoing anti-encroachment drive so that the common people have a sigh of relief.Thakur in a statement issued here to CNS said that despite the false propaganda by various political parties and leaders to gain political mileage from the ongoing drive but LG sir’s timely announcement about poor won’t be touched shut the mouths of those who had started a smear campaign to gain political mileage.
