RAMNAGAR, MARCH 13: Sub Divisional Magistrate Ramnagar, Shishir Gupta, convened a meeting today to discuss the arrangements for the Annual Shree Chountra Mata Yatra. The meeting was attended by officers from various departments and representatives of the Akhand Jyoti Yatra Prabandhak Committee.During the meeting, thorough discussions were held on various arrangements, including the repair of the Dhanoo-Rangs and Sunetur-Dhanwatal roads, uninterrupted power supply, provision of drinking water along the route and at the shrine, foolproof security at different locations of the shrine, Medicare, transport, sanitation and the installation of temporary toilets along the route and at the shrine.The SDM directed all concerned officers to ensure that all arrangements pertaining to their respective departments were made well in advance and in an effective manner, leaving no scope for any complaints. He also directed the Manager of the Bus Union and the Metadoor Union to fix fare charges and avoid overloading.It was decided that the celebration of Navratras would commence in Ramnagar on the morning of March 22, 2023, with the lighting of the sacred Akhand Jyoti at Nursingh Ji Mandir. On March 26, 2023, the Akhand Jyoti would be carried to the Darbar of Mata Chountra Devi Shrine.The concerned officers were directed to install banners promoting the Beti Padao Beti Bachao and Swach Bharat Abhiyaan campaigns along the route and at the shrine.Among those present at the meeting were Vice Chairman MC, Rajesh Kharka, Tehsildar Srinath Suman, SDPO Vishal Manhas, BMO Dr. Zakir Hussain Shah and other sectoral officers.
