Bipul Pathak visits Badhori Panchayat as part of ‘Back to Village, programme

SAMBA, OCTOBER 31: Director General, Jammu and Kashmir Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (IMPARD), Bipul Pathak, today visited Badhori panchayat, Bari Brahmana as part of ongoing ambitious ‘Back to Village’ phase IV programme.

Pathak had exhaustive interaction with the locals and representatives of PRIs regarding the issues concerning development and welfare of their respective areas.

DDC member, Suriya Begum, Block Development Council Chairman, Bari Brahmana, Rajni Devi, Sarpanch Shehnaz Akhter besides other senior officers were also present on the occasion.

DG IMPARD, while interacting with the PRI members, highlighted the government initiatives towards establishing a transparent, efficient and responsive governance. He said officers have been deputed to panchayts in order to conduct an appraisal of development works at grassroots level besides strengthening rapport among the public and the administration.

Pathak elaborately explained about the government schemes and programmes tailored for socio-economic empowerment of people of the UT with emphasis on rural parts. He asked the people to optimally utilize the e-services being extended by different departments to make their lives better. He also had detailed discussion with the locals and PRI members on several important issues concerning development of their respective areas.

On the first day of his visit to Badhori, Bipul Pathak interacted with locals, Sarpanch, panchs DDC members and BDC members and had a detailed review regarding implementation status of various schemes at grassroot level.

DG laid emphasis on ensuring 100% saturation of government schemes with special focus on self employment, Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan, Ayushman Bharat Golden Card Registration, digital services etcetera.

On the occasion, Bipul Pathak also took pledge on National Unity Day as well as vigilance week awareness campaign along with all the members of panchayat

Later, DG and other prominent persons kick started kabbadi games as part of promoting Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan
