Chennai, Hyderabad Coronavirus News Live Updates: The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) in Chennai has forecast heavy to very rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms in parts of Tamil Nadu and Chennai over the next five days.
Meanwhile, the state recorded 3,039 new Covid-19 cases, while the active cases stood at 33,224. The new infections pushed the caseload to 25,13,098 while the toll from the virus touched 33,322 with 69 new causalities. With 3,411 patients getting discharged after treatment today, the total recoveries increased to 24,46,552. As many as 3, 42,47,698 RT-PCR tests have been conducted in the state till date including 1,51,631 tests on Friday.
