Jammu Kashmir Cong launches ‘Har Ghar Cong’ campaign in Kathua April 11, 2021 0 FacebookTwitterWhatsAppEmail KATHUA, Apr 10: Continuing its initiative “Har Ghar Congress”, the party today organized a mass public outreach program at Billawar under the leadership of former minister and president DCC Kathua.The program was attended by galaxy of senior party leaders including Ex- DyCM, Tara Chand, former ministers, GM Sarori, Jugal Kishore, Garu Ram Choudhary, Ch Akram( Ex- MLA) Subash Gupta (Ex MLC), Jahangir Mir (Ex-MLC), Naresh Gupta ( Ex- MLC), Jahangir Mir, Salman Nizami, Varun Magotra, DS Bindu, SardarAmolak Singh, Adv Ashok Sharma, Adv Maheshwar Singh, Vinod Mishra, Rajinder Prasad and others.While speaking on the occasion Tara Chand said that today masses of the country & J&K are suffering due to anti- people policies of Modi Government. He said while fighting for the rights of people of J&K, this outreach programme of ‘Har Ghar Congress’ has been launched for mass contact with people and make them aware of anti people policies of BJP Government. He further said that Congress party is the oldest party of the country and is united. He pitched for the restoration of statehood to J&K.Dr Manohar Lal Sharma said that J&K especially Jammu witnessed lot of development when GN Azad was the Chief Minister of J&K. During Azad’s tenure lot of developmental projects were carried out for jammu such as creation of new districts, Medical colleges, AIIMS and much more but during BJP- PDP Government state witnessed no development and was driven to backfoot. He further said that people are now fed up with BJP and want to see the golden era of development under leadership of Ghulam Nabi Azad again.While speaking on the occasion GM sarori said that congress party will not keep quiet unless Statehood to J&K is restored and told BJP to stop experimenting with J&K and conduct early elections as people problems are not being solved due to absence of assembly in J&K.Former minister RS Chib, Gharu Ram Choudhary and Ex-MLC Jehangir Mir also spoke on the occasion. They said with the rising prices of petrol, diesel and LPG, common people are upset and alleged the Modi government has earned at least Rs 21 lakh crore in the last over six years by raising prices of petrol, diesel and LPG.Former MLCs’ Subash Gupta & Naresh Gupta also spoke on the occasion.
