BARAMULLA, FEBRUARY 15: In continuation to the ambitious Block Diwas programme of the government, the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Baramulla, Dr Sehrish Asgar today presided over a public outreach programme at Boniyar of Uri sub division.At the outset, the DDC inspected the stalls set up by various line departments during which she was apprised about achievements and initiatives taken by the departments in line with the delivery of services to the public.On the occasion, Dr Sehrish participated in the plantation drive and planted saplings within the School premises of Boniyar.The PRIs put forward major demands including extension and macadamisation of Burnate road, availability of transformer at Peerbaila, upgradation of Banali Kassi link road and Drug De-addiction Center at PHC Trikanjan. Besides, the upgradation of High School at Aronbuwa was also highlighted in the public outreach programme.Boniyar-Burnait-Gulmarg Road was also highlighted by the PRIs and youth of Boniyar, for which a detailed project report was sought from the executing department.
