Budgam, 02-Nov: – District Development Commissioner Budgam S F Hamid IAS today chaired a meeting of officers to take review of the progress of Ring Road project in the district.The meeting among others was attended by ADC Budgam, Additional SP Budgam, SE Hydraulics, DMO, Exen of irrigation and PHE, District Horticulture officer and authorities from NHAI and other district officers were also present on the occasion.DC directed all the stakeholders to expedite the work process to ensure timely completion of project. NHAI gave a detailed presentation about the project.District Mineral officer was directed by DC Budgam to allow only those vehicles who are registered for legal excavation and lifting of earth soil. Illegal vehicles to be seized and FIR to be launched immediately against violators.DC directed NHAI representatives to get proper NOCs from Forest department, PHE, Irrigation Department, PDD Department, DMO and other concerned departments before the execution of work. He said to NHAI representatives to share Feasibility report with District administration in terms of transport and assessment for coordination.He said all the stakeholders involved in the execution of project must act keeping in view the larger interest of public and the benefits which the project will bring to the district
