Ganderbal, 19-Jan: District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW) Mission Shakti Ganderbal in collaboration with Sakhi one stop centre and NRLM Ganderbal conducted an awareness camp cum outreach programme at Badampora block Wakura Ganderbal.Programme was attended by almost 200 people which include adolescent girls, local women, registered beneficiaries of SHG’s of block Wakura, team from DHEW, OSC and NRLM.On the occasion the participants were made aware about the working and functioning of the District Social Welfare department at district level besides awareness was raised on different schemes like Pension schemes, Scholarship schemes, Prosthetic Aids, SMAS etc.
