JAMMU, NOVEMBER 24: Director, Sheep Husbandry, Jammu Krishan Lal today conducted a surprise visit to Government Sheep Breeding & Research Farm, Reasi and took a detailed review of the operations including treatment given to Govt. livestock. He also inspected fodder stock and sowing operations undertaken in the Farm.For dereliction of duties and poor performance, two officials namely Amjid Hussain, Assistant Stockman and Mohd. Rafiq, Fieldman have been placed under suspension and salary of Dr. Yasar Arafat, Veterinary Assistant Surgeon of SBF Reasi has been kept withheld.During the inspection, he took stock of the working of the office and reviewed its functioning and asked the officers/officials to work for the welfare of Govt livestock so that a good number of Rams of superior Germplasam are distributed to the breeders for the improvement in breeds of their livestock.
