August 13 (CNS): Suspected militants hurled a grenade towards security forces near SBI Bank in the main town in North Kashmir’s Sopore district.Confirming the incident a police officer told CNS that militants lobbed a grenade on security forces near SBI Bank in which a CRPF trooper and two civilians got injured.In the incident a CRPF trooper identified as P Karthik and two civilians identified as Abdul Rashid Dar, 45 son of Ghulam Ahmad Dar of Watlab Sopore and Ghulam Mohammad Lone,48 , son of Abdul Samad of Baghi Sana Sopore have received splinter injuries, said the SP Sopore.The injured were rushed to SDH Sopore for treatment, he added. Meanwhile, the whole area was cordoned off to nab the attackers.(CNS)
