Jugal Kishore Sharma Member of Parliament Lok Sabha Jammu Poonch while speaking on the motion of thanks in the Parliament Lok Sabha on Railway budget thanked Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman Ji for allotting such a great amount of Rs 140367.13 Crores for the development of Railways in the country.Member of Parliament took a strong note on the Congress leaders who were making noise in the house said that they always try to put a badge in the development of the Nation also in their times but now urge them to be patient and allow the house to discuss on the development issues under the stewardship of great Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. He also urged them not to disturb the proceedings of the house as it is working for the developing India. Member of Parliament while thanking Finance Minister & Minister for Railways said that railways have contributed a lot in the Covid times for connecting India and providing ration and food material to every corner of the India without any delay so that all people will get free ration under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana in time. Jugal Kishore thanked Finance Minister for making provision of funds for running 400 new Vande Bharat trains all over the country & for implementing Pradhanmantri Gati Shakti master plan so that developing India will can achieve targets to the great heights.He also thanked Railway Minister for Double Lanning of railway lines to expedite the development of the Nation by double speed.He also thanked for the achievement of the Jammu & Kashmir for getting Vande Bharat train from Delhi to Katra Shri Mata Vaishno Devi in 2019.In addition to it while expressing his thanks to bring Jammu Railway Station in Class “A” category and for its development as modular railway station & also for double lanning of Railway line from Delhi Jallandher to Jammu requested that survey for laying of Jammu to Rajouri and Poonch railway line has been completed and provision of funds should be made soon for laying of Jammu Poonch railway line.He said that demands for construction of Rail over bridges at Manwal Railway Station,over Village Bajalta Railway Line in District Jammu and Gurha Slathia & Kalibari in District Samba is very genuine should be constructed soon.He also said that railway officials have personally visited to Manwal Railway Station for High Raising of Platform of Manwal Railway Station but its work is still not started and people have to suffer a lot.He also urged for stoppage of Hemkund at Manwal Railway Station and demanded that approach road to Manwal railway Station should be shifted to UT administration for its upgradation so that its work can be executed at the earliest.
