DODA, JUNE 20: District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today visited trauma centre Khaleni and reviewed the arrangements put in place to effectively deal with the Covid-19 menace in the district.
The DDC expressed satisfaction over the arrangements and informed that the drastic improvement are being seen in the the health institution in comparison to the past condition.
After the due pursuance of the district administration, the trauma centre Khaleni has been improvised to the extent that it can dispense best care for Covid-19 patients, the DDC added.
He also informed that necessary medical equipments like oxygen concentrators, oxygen cylinders, pulse oximeters, Blood pressure apparatus, Nebulizers, oxygen flow metres, oxygen nasal pipes, artery forceps besides sufficient number of beds, beddings and other important medical items were also made available to the trauma centre.
“The availability of medical equipments in the health care institutions are as important as the big physical health Infrastructure, hence strengthening of the same is the basic and prime agenda of the district administration with the main focus on the peripheral health institutions of the district”, the DDC added.
Being the priority sector, the district administration is committed to leave no stone unturned to make these health institutions delivery oriented for the convenience of the general public, DDC added.
The others present were CMO Doda, Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Shah, Medical Officer Dr Faheem Wani, BME0 Ghat Mashhood Zargar, besides other officials of the health department.
