THATHRI, JULY 29: An awareness programme was today organized by Poshan Project Thathri under the overall supervision and guidance of District Programme Officer Akther Hussain Qazi.As part of the programme, engagement orders were formally handed over to the newly appointed Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) of the project. Additionally, baby kits were presented to eligible beneficiaries under the centrally sponsored scheme aimed at maternal and child welfare.The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation and was graced by the presence of DDC Member Thathri, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Tehsildar, Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO), along with Supervisors, Anganwadi Workers, and a large number of local residents.The event aimed to spread awareness about health, nutrition, and child care, while also celebrating the strengthening of the Anganwadi system through the induction of dedicated grassroots-level workers.The District Programme Officer appreciated the efforts of the Poshan team and urged all stakeholders to continue working with commitment and dedication for the betterment of women and children in the region.
