Udhampur:
The PP Tikri during naka checking at Tikri received an information through the checking party found that two vehicles having same model and same number plates bearing registration number RJ42 GA 2012. They were being driven by drivers namely Sher Mohd. S/O Bagha Khan R/O Jodhpur Rajasthan and Allahbaksh S/O Saki Mojd. R/O Jodhpur, Rajasthan and were on their way from Jammu to Srinagar, where they were stopped at Tikri for checking.During checking of said vehicles, It is cleared that both the vehicles are having same number plates and likely to be used for illegal business, fraud etc.
Both the drivers have been arrested and both the vehicles were also seized.In this connection, A case under FIR Number 156/2020 under Sections 420/34 IPC has been registered at Police Station Rehambal and investigation is underway.
The arrest was made by SHO PS Rehambal assisted by IC PP Tikri under the supervision of DySP. Hqrs Udhampur.
