Kulgam, 07-Sep; Congress DDC election candidate resigns from Congress to join Ghulam Nabi Azad.Anayat Ullah Rather, from Frisal in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday resigned from the congress party and announced his tie-up to the Ghulam Nabi Azad camp.Rather in his resignation stated,”For 25 years I have served Congress party from the grass roots , and have elected 2 elections on the name of Indian National Congress . My father has served Congress for 4 decades, and I also spent my whole youth to move forward the ideology of Indian National Congress in general public. He further stated that with all due respect to the party and party high command but agonized with the current scenario, “I decided to resign from all basic memberships and designations in Indian National Congress and from now onwards I won’t be serving as a Congress worker anymore” .Rather along with the full consent of his workers have decided to give their support to Azaad in future.(CNS)
