Kulgam, 02-Sep; Government middle School Super kulgam, was renamed “Lt. Ct. Jalal-ud-Din Khanday” on Friday.The ceremony was presided over by the wife of slain constable, Shabeena Kowsar, Aquaf members and school managing body. Khanday was killed while on duty.Speaking on the occasion, the School principal said that Khanday sb made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. He said that academic institutions are formative instruments for future generations, adding that teachers must impart the highest standards of education.Khanday was killed on 25th November when the militants opened fire on the patrol party at Kulgam town in 2016.(CNS)
