Bandipora, January 03: In connection with the ongoing Road Safety Month 2026, the Motor Vehicles Department, Bandipora, in collaboration with the Health Department Bandipore, today organised a free medical camp for commercial vehicle drivers at Bus Stand Nusoo.
During the camp, drivers were medically examined for vision and general fitness to ensure their suitability for safe driving. The initiative aimed to sensitise drivers about the importance of maintaining good health for road safety and preventing accidents caused by medical unfitness.
The camp was well received by the drivers and proved to be a meaningful step towards promoting road safety awareness and safer driving practices in the district.
