In its continuous offensive against menace of drug abuse, Srinagar Police Continues its war against drugs.
During Naka checking at Rambagh chowk one Auto Bearing redg. No. JK0IP-8055 suspiciously tried to evade the naka party. The said auto was chased and stopped by the alert police party.
During search of the auto 26 bottles of liquor ( 750ml each) were recovered from the possession of the accused namely:
1) Firdous Ahmad Kuchay
s/o Ab Rashid Kuchay
R/o Humhamma Budgam
2) Bashir Ahmad Sheikh
S/o Gh Ahmad Sheikh
R/o Humhamma Budgam
In this regard case FIR No. 232/ 2020 U/S 48 Excise Act stands registered at PS Sadder.
Srinagar Police is committed to continue its offensive against the drug peddlers and shall make every endeavour for a drug free Srinagar.
