Says benefit of schemes must percolate to the grass root level
JAMMU, JUNE 14: Principal Secretary, Agriculture Production & Farmers’ Welfare, Navin Kumar Choudhary, today approved action plan worth Rs. 51.90 crore for the Centrally Sponsored Schemes RKVY, NMSA and NeGPA for the year 2021-22.
Principal Secretary, who is also Chairman, State Level Project Screening Committee (SLPSC), State Level Executive Committee (SLEC) and State Executive Committee (SEC), accorded approval to the plan during a meeting convened in this regard.
The total action plan approved included Rs. 9.90 crore under RKVY, Rs. 38.00 crore under NMSA and Rs. 4.00 crore under NeGPA.
Principal Secretary reviewed various interventions made under the Centrally Sponsored Schemes RKVY, NMSA and NeGPA during the year 2020-21 besides deliberating on several aspects of proposed action plan under the said schemes.
Mission Director, RKVY, NMSA and NeGPA, Mohammad Iqbal Chowdhary, Director Agriculture Kashmir gave a detailed presentation regarding the achievements made during 2020-21 besides highlights of proposed action plans under the schemes for 2021-22.
The Head of the Departments of all the departments under Agriculture Production attended the meeting while Kashmir based officers participated online.
