Baramulla,02-Dec;Police and army on Friday said to have recovered arms and ammunition, besides 10 packets of Heroin along LoC in Kamalkote Uri area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.Officials said that in a joint operation of Army and JKP, upon an input of infiltration/smuggling of arms/ ammunition /contraband in Rewand nallah area Kamalkote, parties of Army 8 RR and J&K Police today launched a CASO around the LC.There were indications of initiation of an early warning system installed by the Army and some fires were also spotted. Further search led to the recovery of the following arms/ ammunition and 10 packets of suspected contraband including 2 AK-74 Rifles, 2 AK Magazine, 117 rounds of AK Ammunition, 2 Pistol Chinese and 2 Pistol Chinese magazines.
