Srinagar, 20-Dec: At least three people were feared dead after a car plunged into the river Chenab in the Gaddoo area of Doda Tuesday early morning.Official sources confirmed that at around 5:20 am one car (JK 06 A 6311) rolled down into Chenab river on Doda – kishtwar road near Pul Doda, Opposite Stone crusher Ghat.Soon after the accident, a Police team and SDRF water rescue team Doda besides locals reached the spot and started search and rescue operation.Moreover, they said, car has been traced in the river and a driving license pertaining to one Manjeet Singh son of Pritam Singh of Bhaderwah has also been found on the spot. However, bodies are still untraced“There is suspicion that three people travelling in the vehicle are Manjeet Singh, his wife Sonia Devi and their 6-year-old daughter, residents of Sengoi Bhaderwah”,officials added.
