13-Dec; With dip in mercury, people of several areas in sub district Tral are facing immense hardships due to unscheduled power cuts.The aggrieved residents told that they were expecting fewer power cuts after the department issued a fresh curtailment schedule last month. However, power scenario has not been changed and they are still facing prolonged power cutsThey complained that they are witnessing power crisis this year. “We are apprehensive about what will be the situation like during the harsh forty-day period of cold in Chillai Kallan.” Meanwhile, National Conference Tral while taking serious note of the issue, has said that the department is depriving the citizens of the Sub District Tral of their basic rights by not providing the electricity as per schedule. “Consumers are paying the bills on time but the PDD department of Tral is showing non-serious approach in delivering their duties”.
