DGP sanctions retirement gift of rupees 45 lakh in favour of 60 Police personnel

SRINAGAR, JULY 31: As a token of appreciation for their services Director General of Police Shri Dilbag Singh sanctioned retirement gift of rupees forty-five lakh in favour of Sixty Police personnel of J&K Police who are retiring from service today after attaining superannuation or taking voluntary retirement.

       The gift of rupees Seventy-Five thousand each has been sanctioned out of Contributory Police Welfare Fund on their superannuation or voluntary retirement.

       Sanction has been issued vide PHQ Order No. 2058 for grant of retirement gift in favour of Six Gazetted Officers, forty-eight Non-Gazetted officers, three lower subordinates and three Followers. The personnel belonged to different units and wings of the department.

       Retirement gift of seventy-five thousand is sanctioned to each police personnel from the contributory police welfare fund at the time of his/her retirement. The gift serves as a token of appreciation for his/her services rendered to the department.
