JAMMU: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) has added three newly procured Front End Loaders in the scanty fleet of six number such machines.Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta, Dy. Mayor, Poornima Sharma and Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation Avny Lavasa inducted these machines in the existing fleet of JMC in an inaugural function held at Manda Yard of JMC.Mayor and Dy. Mayor in their addresses lauded the works being undertaken by Jammu Municipal Corporation towards betterment of Jammu City.Avny apprised Mayor and Dy. Mayor that these three number Front End Loaders have been procured by JMC at a cost Rs. 58.98 lakh and they shall augment JMC in a big way in clearing the garbage at conspicuous collection points well before noon every day.It was also brought into focus that two Refuse Compactors of 14 cum capacity are under procurement and shall be part of JMC fleet soon.
